I compiled release 5.2 with SDK 5.3.x and noticed a strange bug during testing.
I am able to run the app in simulator without any problem, but when I run it on a iPhone XR it crashes when trying the first call.
The XR is running iOS 17.2.1, same as simulator.
I then tried running it on an iPhone 13 (also running 17.2.1) and in this case it also worked fine, just like in the simulator.
So it seems there is something about the XR hardware that makes linphone crash when setting up a call, specifically in mediastreamer.
Not sure if there's some incompatibility with the A12 chip in XR or what else may be the origin of this problem.
When I run the app directly in xCode connected to the XR I see this error:
