MySQL source - is binlog properly handled for views?

Hello,

we using the MySQL connector to connect to a database with binlog activated. The connector validates just fine.
However, the data we want to pull is mainly comprised of Mysql views.
Does the connector still can properly handle ayn changes using the binlog?

I would expect that with a view the real source of the data might be hidden and Airbyte will not be able use binlog properly.
Does anyone know?
