I am trying to setup notifications sent to my phone using motion detection triggers on my Arlo cameras. I have recent install of aarlo and everything is working fine as far as viewing cameras and arming disarming through HA dashboard.

I have tried using various entities to trigger the notification but I seem to be getting notifications when there is no obvious motion to be detected. Native Arlo iOS app is not getting any notification or recording anything. HA seems to be being triggered by something else. I do have activity zones activity zones active on that camera and they seem to be working.

HA log is showing motion detected and nothing that seems out of the ordinary there. I am using aarlo glance card and when motion is detected no recording is made. Ive even tried triggering on when changing from idle to record with same result, log says recording starts but no new recording is made. Its as if Im monitoring a different camera.

Any ideas here? Thanks in advance.

And just to clarify when there is legit motion everything works as expected. Snapshot made and notification sent. Its these other triggers which are not as expected.

Thanks Steve

Will this do the same thing as editing config?
