I can't deploy VitePress in CloudFlare Pages

Above is the CloudFlare Pages deployment log.
It's strange, at deployment time this repository is just a basic VitePress site made by the VitePress command line setup wizard (npx vitepress init).
I deployed it to CloudFlare Pages without modifying any of the files, and this still gives me an error.
I've also tried to find a solution from Bing and asked ChatGPT, but this is invariably to no avail.

add vitepress to package.json - npm add -D vitepress -- the init command doesn't do that for you.
