What changes did you make?
Separate commits for upgrading the following dependencies:
All have passed tests and appear to not impact performance.
Why did you make the changes?
These upgrades resolve moderate, high, and critical severity security alerts raised by Snyk.
Unresolved dependency alerts makes contributing to this repo troublesome for contributors.
Snyk no longer has access to this repo therefore Snyk cannot automatically resolve the PRs it has already opened.
Dependencies that require substantial code changes will be resolved in separate PRs.
