Commandfiles are now encouraged to inject their dependencies via Autowire (#5893). The drush.services.yml file is deprecated and may be removed in Drush 13. Now is also a good time to update commandfiles to use PHP Attributes instead of annotations.

A new content authoring command: entity:create. Added in 12.4.4 and so fun we had to mention it again in this minor release.

⚠️ Artifact update problem

Renovate failed to update an artifact related to this branch. You probably do not want to merge this PR as-is.

♻ Renovate will retry this branch, including artifacts, only when one of the following happens:

  • any of the package files in this branch needs updating, or
  • the branch becomes conflicted, or
  • you click the rebase/retry checkbox if found above, or
  • you rename this PR's title to start with "rebase!" to trigger it manually

The artifact failure details are included below:

File name: drupal/composer.lock
Command failed: composer update drush/drush:13.2.0 --with-dependencies --ignore-platform-req='ext-*' --ignore-platform-req='lib-*' --no-ansi --no-interaction --no-scripts --no-autoloader --no-plugins
Loading composer repositories with package information
Updating dependencies
Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages.

  Problem 1
    - Root composer.json requires drush/drush 13.2.0 (exact version match: 13.2.0 or 13.2.0.0), found drush/drush[13.2.0] but these were not loaded, likely because it conflicts with another require.
  Problem 2
    - drupal-tome/tome_drush is locked to version dev-master and an update of this package was not requested.
    - drupal-tome/tome_drush dev-master requires drush/drush ^9.6.0 || ^10.0 || ^11.0 -> found drush/drush[9.6.0-alpha1, ..., 9.x-dev, 10.0.0-alpha1, ..., 10.x-dev, 11.0.0-rc1, ..., 11.x-dev] but it conflicts with your root composer.json require (13.2.0).

Use the option --with-all-dependencies (-W) to allow upgrades, downgrades and removals for packages currently locked to specific versions.

Walkthrough

The recent changes focus on tightening dependency management for the drush/drush package across two key files in the Drupal project. In drupal/composer.json, the version constraint has been set to a specific version (13.0.1), enhancing stability. Meanwhile, the drupal/drush/Commands/contrib/tome_drush/composer.json file has been updated to support newer Drush versions, including ^13.0, thus broadening compatibility with modern features.

Changes

Files Change Summary
drupal/composer.json, drupal/drush/Commands/contrib/tome_drush/composer.json Updated drush/drush dependency: fixed to 13.0.1 in the main composer file; expanded range to include ^13.0 for Tome commands.

Poem

🐰 In the land of code where the rabbits hop,
Dependencies tightened, we’ll never stop!
With Drush now steady, version precise,
We dance through updates, oh so nice!
Hopping along with new features in sight,
A joyful leap for coding delight! 🌟

Tips

Chat

There are 3 ways to chat with CodeRabbit:

  • Review comments: Directly reply to a review comment made by CodeRabbit. Example:
-- I pushed a fix in commit <commit_id>, please review it.
-- Generate unit testing code for this file.
    • Open a follow-up GitHub issue for this discussion.
  • Files and specific lines of code (under the "Files changed" tab): Tag @coderabbitai in a new review comment at the desired ___location with your query. Examples:
-- @coderabbitai generate unit testing code for this file.
    -- @coderabbitai modularize this function.
  • PR comments: Tag @coderabbitai in a new PR comment to ask questions about the PR branch. For the best results, please provide a very specific query, as very limited context is provided in this mode. Examples:
-- @coderabbitai generate interesting stats about this repository and render them as a table.
-- @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
-- @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.
-- @coderabbitai help me debug CodeRabbit configuration file.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.
